It is preferable to avoid meat, alcohol and rich and fatty foods and take plenty of fruit and vegetables. 80g Loose Tea: Milk Thistle, Cardamon, Calendula, Licorice, Elderberry, Dandelion Root, Artichoke Leaf & Orange Peel.

If you have high blood pressure make sure you do not exceed the suggested daily usage because of the licorice content which can, in high amount, exacerbate this condition.

Soak a teaspoon of herbs in 1-2 mugs of cold water in a small saucepan, either for 30 minutes to an hour or ideally, overnight. Bring slowly to a gentle simmer for 5-10 minutes, then strain and drink either hot or leave it (covered) to cool down first. Honey can be added if desired, 1-2 cups can be drunk daily.
